Alivia
Snow is a senior at DSU where she is studying for her Bachelors Degree in Dance and has been a member of their Dance Company for the past 4 years. She has grown up in St. George and has trained with Super
Steppers, Dance Tracks, On Stage Dance and 2One Productionz. She
attended SCHS where she was a member of Eshelles for 3 years. She
served as Co-Captain her senior & junior year. Alivia was a
member of All Region Drill Team, All Academic Drill Team, and SCHS
Sterling Scholar Runner-up for Dance. She has performed with DSU
Raging Red, Odyssey Dance Theater's youth cast for “THRILLER” and Co-Coached the SCHS Eshelle Drill Team last year. Alivia has
choreographed many genre's of dance for herself, SC Drill Team,
solo's and fundraising projects. She is honored to be asked to stay
on as Head Coach for SC Eshelles and looks forward to working with the
2016-17 drill team, faculty & administration. She know's that
with the help of Mikel, Annalee & Jordan, that they will be able to build
the SC Eshelles to be their very best.
Mikel
Young has been dancing for over 17 years. She is currently
attending Dixie State University, where she is a member of the
University’s Dance Company. She grew up dancing at Dance Concepts
Studio in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was there that she received
training in all areas of dance and discovered her love and passion
for the sport. Later, while attending Bingham High School, Mikel had
the opportunity of being a three year member of the 5A State Champion
Drill Team; the Minerettes, and gained a State Champion Title in
2012. Her love of performing continued after high school, allowing
her to dance with Odyssey’s Haunted Circus as well as their
production of “THRILLER”. She has taught dance at multiple
studios over the years and is excited to begin her coaching career
here at Snow Canyon High School.
Annalee Burnett has loved dance since her very first class when she was just 3 years old. Through elementary and up to high school, she had the opportunity to dance and perform in various local and national events as part of the Super Steppers Jr. Drill Team. Annalee was also a member of the Snow Canyon Eshelles her senior year and graduated from Snow Canyon in 2003. She is currently working for the St George Communications Center as a 911 Dispatcher and has loved her job there for the last 12 years. Annalee enjoys anything outdoors, her favorite things would be camping, riding motorcycles, and going to the beach in California with her family, Matt and Ashlynn. Annalee and her 8 year old daughter, Ashlynn, have continued to watch and support the Eshelles through the years and she is very excited to have the opportunity to coach alongside Alivia, Mikel & Jordan.
Jordan Cox is excited to be joining the coaching staff at SCHS where she was on Eshelles Drill Team for 2 years and Dance Company for 3 years. She has been dancing for nearly 10 years and has training in jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip hop. Jordan extended her training in modern, contemporary and tap while attending DSU and has been a member of their Dance Company for the past 3 years. She has also performed with DSU Raging Red and Odyssey Dance Theater's youth cast for "THRILLER". Jordan loves teaching dance and looks forward to working with the Eshelles this year. She is married to Jayden Cox and they live in Washington, Utah.
