STATE COMPETITION
SC Eshelles traveled to State Drill Competition
to cheer on our region and other teams.
It was fun to watch all of the other routines.
SC was name "4A Sportsmanship Award"!
We are honored to receive this award out of
all of the 4A teams. Thats HUGE!

 are amazing but only the top 4 make it to State. SC Eshelles placed 5th so we will not be competing at STATE but we will be there cheering on our region!

12 4A teams competed
Even though our girls looked amazing, the did not
place in the top 5 spots. We've learned this year that it's
not always about the awards that you get, it's the fun that
we get to spend with each other and the sportsmanship
that we have for all of the other teams.

State Competitions were done with the POD system. We competed against 3 other teams in the SEMI FINALS earning our way to the FINALS. It was such a wonderful experience to be named one of the teams to compete at that level. 24 teams narrowed down to 8 + a wild card entry. SC Eshelles tore up the floor. They worked so hard through injury, sickness and made it happen.
They pulled together as a team and kicked butt!!
Even though we did not place in the top 5 in any
of the categories, the girls felt absolutely on fire!

Semi Finals: We were really excited!!
 
Region 9 is always a hard competition. We have
some amazing teams in our region. We took 4 in all
of our dances which gave us the chance to attend
STATE! Our team looks so good but you never
know how the judges will score them. We are just
excited to be able to attend State Comp. We had
a HUGE crowd cheering us on. Thank you to all
of the other sport teams & classmates for coming.
We do have a great school!! Congratulations going
out to Brooklynn Reynold for receiving 2nd place in
3A Region Drill Down!

Delta Competition
Delta Competition was interesting.
Thank you to the Lexie's grandparents for housing
& feeding the girls. We truly appreciate it.
The weather was cold & snowy but we had a fun trip.
Scoring was a little odd at this competition
but the team looked great. Last minute substitution but
each of them did a great job. We take what we learn from
this comp. and clean our routines even more. One step
closer to region. Thank you to all of the parents for coming
to cheer on our team & helping with costumes. We are a
very lucky team to have such a wonderful drill team family!

UVU TEAM COMPETITION!
These ESHELLES are on fire!
They competed in their first drill team competition today at UVU.
We placed 2nd in Hip Hop, 4th in Military, 4th in Dance, 5th place in Kick!
Overall we took 4th place out of 7 teams!!
Iam so proud of their hard work this week and
they definitely deserved these trophies! Great job girls!!

The team is heading to Orem for their first competition
of the year! We want to wish the girls and coaches
a safe & successful trip.
Semi Finals at UVU

State finals were done differently this year. We had a bracket system. We were placed in "PODS" and competed against 3 other teams. The top 2 teams moved on to the Finals on Sat. Eshelles performed well considering many injuries and sickness. We had an awesome cheering section of family, friends and even Mr. Gali & his wife came to watch us. We are truly grateful for everyone's willingness to come and cheer us on. The girls placed in the following:
POD Result:
Military: 3rd place (1 point behind 2nd)
Dance: 1st place
Character: Tied for 3rd place but got ranked 4th place
Over-All: 3rd place
We got a "Maybe" Wild Card which means we may of gotten to
participate on Sat. for Finals but didn't get that spot in the end. A blessing in disguise. Our girls had finished Friday's competition so well and felt so good about their performances. It was nice to just cheer on our Region on Sat. for finals. We watched teams that we had not been able to see. It was a lot of fun.
We want to thank our fans. Without you, we would be lost!

SC Eshelles performed great but had some injuries that they were working with. We had an awesome cheering section and we appreciate everyone for making the trip. We are so proud of this team and what they have been through. They have pulled together and have come SO far. Let's see what we can do at STATE next weekend!

SC Eshelles know that it is a busy night with a boy's home basketball game but we really need a large cheering section. Anyone interested in coming will not be disappointed. Our region has some of the best drill teams performing in the state! Please come and cheer for your SC ESHELLES! We are so proud of our girls and all that they have had to overcome this year. They have done an amazing job and we really hope that you can make it to make some noise for us! Good luck to our fantastic team and coaches!
